Holiday flat Las Lagunas in El Cotillo
The holiday flat "Las Lagunas" is situated in the small, calm, idyllic holiday resort "El Caleton" with 8 holiday flats and 3 apartments, directly next to a romantic lagoon with white sandy beach in El Cotillo. The place is ideal for those looking for peace, recreation, relaxation and extensive sunbaths and baths in the sea. The flat is situated at ground level. From the terrace you directly reach the white sandy beach with black lava rocks and crystal clear water via the subtropical shared garden with dreagon trees, blooming bougainvillaes, oleander and hibiscuses. The holiday flat "Las Lagunas" is attractive for all those who don't like crowds and thus avoid giant hotels in order to be close to the sea for a week or two. The flat is a delight for families with small children, elderly couples searching for peace, sun worshippers, bird watchers and beach hikers.
Maximum occupancy is 4 adults and 1 child.
The landlord is able to organise a hire car for just a few days for guests.
Important general notes
The idyllic holiday flat is off public power supplies. Electricity is produced through a generator. If you have any questions regarding power supply please feel free to contact Mr. Reed.

Location/surroundings:
The holiday resort is situated about 1,5 kms away from El Cotillo. You'll get there in about 2 minutes by car (or in 15-20 minutes if you walk along the beach). The location is quiet and idyllic on the beach.
El Cotillo is a traditional Canary fishing village that has preserved its charms until today and that is not overrun by tourists. In the village there are about a dozen restaurants (mostly Canary or Italian). Most of them offer terrace seats facing the sea. Fresh fish is the basis of most meals. There are also some cafes and bars, 3 small supermarkets, a very good bakery and pastry shop (French), two banks, a pharmacy and small shops for your daily needs.
You also find internet access in the small town. The next petrol station is in La Oliva, approx. 15 minutes from El Cotillo. Regular bus services link El Cotillo with both Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. The village has one of the most beautiful beaches of the Canary Islands, including a long sandy beach in the south and numerous protected bays with white sand and clear, turqoise water in the north. These little bays (in some you can do nudism) are protected by the lava rocks. Thus there are no waves and bathing is not dangerous for adults and children.
From El Cotillo there are motorways which connect the village with the island's road network. You reach the capital in about 40 minutes for a shopping tour. If you want to spend an evening in Corralejo it takes you about 20 minutes to get there. You reach the central mountains and historic villages such as Betancuria, Antigua or Tefia with many museums and handcraft centres or Caleta de Fuste in an hour's drive.

Booking
Booking procedure:
You can reach the landlord via our contact form. The landlord gladly answers your questions anytime. If you're interested, we'll reserve the flat preliminarily and send you 2 copies of the rental agreement by post. Then you'll sign one of them and send it back to the landlord. As soon as the landlord receives the down payment the booking is binding.
Payment info:
20% down payment (bank transfer).
The remaining amount is due nine weeks before departure (bank transfer).
