The Golf Club Salinas de Antigua is situated near the small town Caleta de Fuste on Fuerteventura. The golf course is an 18-hole course (par 70). The perfect weather conditions on Fuerteventura and the professional environment invite you to play golf in your holidays.
Position:
The golf course is about 1.5 km south of the town centre of Caleta de Fuste. Caleta de Fuste is one of the main tourist centres on Fuerteventura, near the airport and the capital Puerto del Rosario.
Golf course:
The golf course is an 18-hole course, par 70. The maximum length for women is 4,652 m and for men 5,409 m.
Apart from the 18-hole golf course, there is a putting green, a driving range, a club house and a restaurant.
In the club house you will find changing rooms with lockers and a rental service for rackets, buggies (also electric) etc.
The golf course was designed by the double world champion Manolo Piñeiro. When the golf course was built they used the latest technology for the best irrigation and drainage systems in order to optimize the consumption of the water which comes from a sea water desalting plant. On the course you will find the grass "paspalum vaginatum” since this grass is currently the most suitable one on the market for locations with water shortage.
